Floor Play - Make Me Wanna Dance

Got free ticket from my friend, so we went to watch this dance performance.

Well, having to sit so still when listening to the strong music and watching the dancers dancing, made me feel so strange. It was a good show but I still enjoyed watching the Tango dance more during my Argentina trip.
Burn the Floor combines the incredible talent of the worlds best dancers, spectacular costumes and music, a collage of dance styles including salsa, rumba, cha cha and tango all with a sexy, modern edge.

Gathering With 'Ex-Brazil Colleagues'

One of my colleagues and I organised a dinner gathering with those colleagues that we used to work together in Brazil. Most of them were back to Singapore for good so there are quite a number of them. If all of them can make it, I believe the number of people can be double.

Here's my colleagues and friends.................
We had our dinner at this Northern Indian Cuisine Restaurant - Moti Mahal Restaurant and the food is good. At least there are choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

My Vegetarian Choice
My Tea

Of course, lots of laughter during the dinner when we were cracking all of our jokes which always began with "Last time when I/we were there, we used to do .........". Of course, we also like to compare now and then, ha ha, sounds like old men and women gathering but I enjoyed it.

National Day Rally 2007 - City of Possibilities; Home for All

1. Introduction
2. Income Gap – leaving no one behind
3. Upgrading Education – levelling up society
4. Ageing Population – living active lives
5. Working Longer – more savings for old age
6. Improving CPF – building a nest egg
7. Upgrading & Renewal – best home for all
8. Forging Ahead – go for it together

I believe most of us watched the Rally last night, listening to the above topics that related to us, young and the elderly. There are so much that the government and ourselves need to do in order to have better life in this competitive world.

Well, at least one good news for us is the increasing of CPF 1% interest rate.

So for me, no more thinking of retire at age of 55, unless I am rich enough to survive and perhaps a bit more to go for vacation.

I am taking my part-time degree course and hope this will helps my salary increase by another 28% if 14% increase of wage for each schooling year. (Hope this apply for part-time student like me)

Another 30 over years and I will become one of the ageing population. Most likely, I will be staying alone as getting a partner is still a mystery to me. Perhaps I should save enough money to live in old folk home in future.

Well, hopefully housing rate do not increase to the highest when I hit the requirement age to buy my own house. Anyway I am working hard to save as much as I can to get my own HDB flat now.

See, I have quite a few to do for myself and sorry to say that, for my own next generation, I am not ready for that yet.

What about you?

The Bourne Ultimatum

I said before, I always love to watch this kind of 'smart' movie. To see how a smart guy handle in the unpredictable and dangerous situations.

Bourne races to discover the final mysteries of his past while a government agent tries to track him down after a shootout in Moscow.

Main Cast: Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, David Strathairn
Director: Paul Greengrass
Genre:Action/ Adventure
Running Time:105 minutes

My Rate: ****1/2

I feel ..... I just can't wait too long to watch it, been waiting for so long after "The Bourne Supremacy". Perhaps this has been one of my favourite series movies from "The Bourne Identity", so I find this is a good movie too although the ending is still remain to our imagination to finish the storyline. I do enjoy this movie!!!

Now, the next series movie that need to wait will be Harry Potter.
