Fruity Day Again

I remembered we were given a green apple during last March, and today we will get a red apple.

Beauty Queen Apple is darker red in color, has a higher sugar level & crisp inner flesh and provides a delicately sweet flavor.
Beauty Queen Apple can be eaten plain, made into sauce or jelly, or it can be included in a variety of salads, meat dishes, pies, and other desserts. As a dried fruit, it can be added to a variety of baked goods or in a fresh form, it can be used to produce juice, vinegar, cider, and alcoholic beverages, such as hard cider and apple brandy
Medium to large sized round, Beauty Queen Apple has excellent storage ability. To store, keep the Beauty Queen Apple as cold as possible in the refrigerator.

Prevent Apples from Turning Brown
· Brush the surface of the apple with lemon juice.
· Place the apple in water that has had lemon juice, cider vinegar or ascorbic acid. (Do not over-soak the apple. Drain and pat dry before eating).
· Dip the apple slices in lemon-lime soda.Soak apple slices in apple juice until ready to use. The acidity in the apple juice prevents the apple slices from browning and doesn't change the flavor of the apple.

Well, I already got one red apple from my sister today, hee hee.
