Ivy's Farewell Dinner

My colleague - Ivy is going to Brasil for her 2 years secondment soon so we had the farewell dinner for her. We went to Tung Luk Restaurant at Vivo City and enjoyed a wonderful night with the wonderful food. Even my vegatarian food was great too!

Mars (Chocolate) starts using animal products

Attention to all vegetarian and muslim. All these chocolates no longer suitable for you.

Got this news from Ivy.

All the below Masterfood Company Chocolate Products (Mars) are no longer Halal. They started using Animal product rennet (the inner lining of the fourth stomach of calves and other young ruminants) in it for products that have expiry date after 1 st of October 2007.

Gathering With 'Ex-Brazil Colleagues'

One of my colleagues and I organised a dinner gathering with those colleagues that we used to work together in Brazil. Most of them were back to Singapore for good so there are quite a number of them. If all of them can make it, I believe the number of people can be double.

We had our dinner at this Northern Indian Cuisine Restaurant - Moti Mahal Restaurant and the food is good. At least there are choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Of course, lots of laughter during the dinner when we were cracking all of our jokes which always began with "Last time when I/we were there, we used to do .........". Of course, we also like to compare now and then, ha ha, sounds like old men and women gathering but I enjoyed it.

I managed to reach on time to have dinner with my family on Sunday. We went to Sakae Sushi at North Point and then I realised that they also served Vegetarian Japanese Food, with more than 20 choices to select.

So a good news for Vegetarian, esp those who love to eat Japanese food.

Vegetarian Pls Be Informed!!!!

I just got an email from one of my vegetarian friends who remind that the French Fries from McDonald's is not 100% pure vegetarian. Not because it is not fried by vegetable oil, but the fries itself content beef. There is even one lawsuit against McDonald's by the Vegetarian Society, McDonald’s Lawsuit —What’s the Story? to prove so.

Wow, I love to eat French Fries but not more from McDonald's or any Fast Food restaurant till I find that they are considered vegetarian food.

So my pals, I have to stay away from Fast Food restaurants and hope all of you can understand. And for those who always think I am so troublesome, I am now a level higher than problematic so watch out, ha ha ha!!!
